If you love the fun styling of the Subaru Crosstrek but want improved fuel ratings that you simply cannot get with even the most efficient gasoline model, come into Dick Hannah Subaru in Vancouver to test drive the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid! It's such a well-rounded model that gives driver's style, premium features, and, of course, enviable fuel ratings and alternative power.

The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid's Convenience Amenities

Do you have a long commute from your home in Gresham? Then you'll love the 6-way power-adjusting seats that are standard on the Crosstrek Hybrid, and during cooler weather you can turn on the heated front seats. Unlike the gasoline Crosstrek, the hybrid variant has a package that even lets you upgrade and get a heated steering wheel! Speaking of the seats, they're an immediate attention grabber, thanks to the blue and gray leather upholstery.

If you tend to have passengers along for the ride -especially teenagers - you can keep them preoccupied on their phones with the ability to turn the Crosstrek Hybrid's cabin into a 4G WIFI hotspot. Sure, it might be more screen time than you'd want them to have, but on long car rides it's worth it to keep teens happy...and quiet. Available navigation is there to assist on long drives so you don't get lost, and you can get navigation in the same package that houses the heated steering wheel. Also included in the package is a power moonroof for those sunny summer afternoons and a big 432-watt speaker by the brand Harman Kardon!

Even though the model has some pretty premium looks and features, the Subaru hybrid model is, at its roots, still meant for adventure. We like that integrated roof rails come included, making it easier and less expensive for you to add on Genuine Subaru Accessories, such as a bike rack, kayak rack, or cargo box to haul bags. To protect the inside, we always suggest upgrading to all-weather floor mats!

Get to know the Crosstrek Hybrid and its Features

Unlike the gasoline version that comes in three trims, the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is a singular trim that takes features from the higher gasoline trims and even gives drivers a few amenities that you'll only find if you buy or lease the hybrid.

A Few of the Crosstrek Hybrid Technologies

Some of our favorite standard amenities are the keyless access with a push button start and Subaru's keyless entry touch pad. With the first technologies, you don't need to get your keys out to enter and start the car, which is definitely appreciated if it's raining and you want to get inside as quickly as possible. If you want to go camping outside of Portland, you can leave your keys safely locked away and not worry about dropping them on the trail. When you return to your Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, simply key in the code you've chosen. You'll also get an 8-inch touchscreen with STARLINK™, as well as the option to use Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™. The touchscreen does a beautiful job of tying the cabin's design together and giving the vehicle a premium feel.

The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is here to Protect

The Crosstrek Hybrid has the EyeSight® safety package standard, meaning you're covered by driver assistance and crash avoidance features. If you're commuting in busy Beaverton, you can utilize the adaptive cruise control system and lane keep assist. EyeSight® also has pre-collision braking for worst-case scenarios and a lane departure and lane sway warning. LED response headlights that are paired with high beam assist help lead the way, and for foggy drives that Washington is known for, there's LED fog lights; no matter the time of day or conditions, you'll be able to see clearly when you're behind the wheel of the Crosstrek Hybrid.

Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Performance & Care

Now that we've gotten you excited by going over all the convenience, comfort, and technologies the Crosstrek Hybrid has to offer, let's dive into the most important part: its hybrid system! What powers this crossover is a combination electric and gas engine, and the electric engine gets its charge from plug-in setup. According to EPA-estimates, the Crosstrek Hybrid can get up to 90 MPGe and can go up to 480 miles. If you're someone who travels a lot, you'll love that the gas tank has your back, and you don't have to worry about running out of 'electric juice' before arriving at your destination!

Charging is easy, too. With a Level 1 charger (a 120V outlet) a full charge takes about 5 hours, and on a Level 2 (240V) it takes about 2 hours. Through the CHARGE FINDER smartphone app you can monitor your vehicle's battery levels, check on the charge times, and find public charging spots (and their applicable charges) when you're on the go.

A note on performance: you'll quickly notice how well the Crosstrek Hybrid performs in the city or on well-paved roads, but like any new Subaru, the Crosstrek Hybrid doesn't flinch at Beaverton backroads or more rugged terrain. To help when road conditions aren't ideal, there's 8.7-inches of ground clearance, standard symmetrical all-wheel, and X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control. No matter where you want to travel, the Crosstrek Hybrid can take you there!
